WHAT INFORMATION DO I NEED TO PROVIDE BEFORE MY FIRST SESSION?

For all sessions, it’s essential that you complete the Client Health Waiver at least 24 hours in advance of your scheduled appointment.

All new clients will also receive a short 15-minute call before their first appointment. This allows us to go through your form together, answer any questions, and establish which treatment or approach will best support you. As there are many different techniques and modalities available — some of which require specific preparation or setup — this step ensures that everything is ready for you in advance and that your session is safely and effectively tailored to your individual needs.

Please note: without the Health Waiver Form and Initial Intake Call, your appointment may need to be rescheduled or charged as a no-show.

HOW SHOULD I PREPARE FOR MY FIRST SESSION?

Your preparation will depend on which session you have booked.

After completing your Client Health Waiver Form where applicable, on the days leading up to your session, it is recommended to hold more awareness with yourself and how you go about your daily life - reflecting on what you wish to experience during your booked session.

For Oil-based bodywork, please ensure that you are showered and clean before you arrive. You can create a ritual around this by playing some calming music, filing the space with scents you enjoy and visualise the water cleansing away any troubles or stresses that may have lead to tension being held physically or emotionally.

For Fully-clothed practices (Neuro-Myofascial Repatterning, Thai Yoga Bodywork, Guidance & Coaching sessions) it is advisable to wear clean, warm, stretchy clothing (like yoga pants and a long-sleeved top). These sessions may involve gentle movement, acupressure, or floor-based practices, so please ensure you can move easily. Where acupressure may be applied to the feet, clean socks or bare feet are recommended.

Most importantly, come with an open mind and a willingness to listen to your body. Give yourself enough time to arrive calmly, and set an intention for what you’d like to receive from the session. This simple preparation helps your body and nervous system shift more easily into a receptive state.

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT DURING MY FIRST SESSION?

Each session begins with a short check-in to review your form and any changes that may have occured since your Initial Intake Call . Depending on the service, this may include a brief mobility assessment.

All sessions begin with a brief breathing practice, or guided meditation to help you settle and from there, we move into the session itself.

Every session closes with space for integration — whether through quiet rest, reflective discussion, or journaling — so that insights can be carried into daily life.

WHAT IF I AM LATE OR NEED TO CANCEL?

Your session time is reserved just for you. If you arrive late, we’ll still need to finish at the scheduled time. However, if it is necessary that you need to cancel your appointment, it is good to be aware that there are applicable fees for short-notice cancellations or missed appointments.

  • More than 24 hours’ notice: No fee.

  • Within 24 hours: €35 cancellation fee.

  • Within 12 hours or no-show: Full session fee applies.

Please see the Cancellation & Late Attendance Policy for full details, however for special circumstances (pregnancy, long-term conditions), fees can be discussed with compassion.

Are your sessions safe during pregnancy or postpartum?

Yes, some treatments are adapted specifically for pregnancy and post-birth recovery, such as Prenatal & Post-Partum Massage. This treatment is safe to receive after 12 weeks prenatal and from 4 weeks postpartum (6 weeks after a C-section). Other treatments, such as Thai Yoga Bodywork, are not suitable during pregnancy. Always let me know if you are pregnant or recently postpartum so I can advise the safest options

Can your treatments help with chronic or terminal illness?

Many of the techniques I use can provide relief from symptoms of acute or chronic conditions — for example: stress, burnout, back pain, sciatica, menstrual discomfort, migraines, arthritis, and more. However, these sessions are not a substitute for medical care. I do not diagnose or prescribe treatment. For serious medical or psychological concerns, please consult a qualified physician, psychologist, or other healthcare provider.

Do you offer gift cards?

Yes! Gift Cards are available in different values and can be used towards any treatment, session, or program. They make a thoughtful gift for birthdays, celebrations, new parents, or anyone who could use a little rest and renewal.
